This work that we are doing
This work that we are doing is not easy to complete but will be difficult to destroy. It is not based on financial gain. It is not based on ego. Not even based on a deep desire to do good which is often a mask for something else.
It comes from a clear concept of what is the correct thing to do with the unique position we have found ourselves in. It does not require any external validation. We have seen the people with vitiligo and we have understood what they need. we have also seen the inherent contradictions in the current vitiligo space and how they cause confusion and insecurity for the individual.
We choose to think in bigger picture terms. What will happen to the children in the years to come who will inevitably develop vitiligo? What kind of vitiligo norms will they inherit? We choose to leave for them a new way. The vitiligo way.
The vitiligo way is not an easy way. It does not encourage delusion or permit false feelings to remove responsibility from the individual. But it is the correct way. Where self introspection contributes to organized investigation and the collective consciousness of vitiligo knowledge is repeatedly and intentionally expanded.
This collective knowledge of vitiligo is what will gradually but inevitably lead to breakthrough after breakthrough in this space.
This is our aim.
