Techniques in Vitiligo Investigation
After the individual has decided to investigate their vitiligo, we found that there were no tools or techniques available for them to do so in a serious and coordinated manner. We are totally against random amateur style investigation which does not help anybody and has the potential to harm. This is why we decided we need reading material that would give the people some key guidelines to begin. Techniques in Vitiligo Investigation is the result of this decision.
1. The techniques are just a starting point but they create the context of seriousness and professionalism. We really do not enjoy the idea of someone experimenting with their white marks with no point of reference or standards or action
2. The techniques make you committed. The whole thing becomes serious and non random when you become organised and intentional with the investigation process. We find it is very difficult to turn back when you are so invested in learning about your vitiligo at this level of commitment.
3. The techniques help the Vitiligo Database Proper. Our vitiligo database is the pride of our investigation efforts. If we are to accept data into the database it needs to be in the correct format and meet our strict requirements. Using the techniques as a foundation increase the chances of the information being added to the database.
Just like our C theory this text is also not complete and will be updated regularly with new editions. But it is a very good start and an important asset at our organization and the individual who wants to begin exploring options.
Independent investigation is not amateur investigation. With no standard operating procedures and codes of communication any real chance of transmitting what you discover to people who need it will be unlikely. In this series of handbooks investigators are required to learn the protocols for submitting information to be considered for entry into the vitiligo database proper.
