After people complete the IVIA program, The logical consequence is a change in what their white marks mean for them. This process too needs to be managed correctly, and it is the intention of this text to provide practical procedures to allow the individual to lead others with or without the skin condition.
Vitiligo is leadership. You are the captain of the ship now. The captain is calm. The captain is controlled and the captain is competent.
Leadership ability is the subtle combination of character , appearance and conduct.
Commanding people is not about controlling people. It is about serving people. Your highest and grandest possibility is the ability to lift others who cannot lift themselves.
Command presence is the external manifestation of internal confidence. It is your ability to project through your body and speech that you are capable of handling whatever circumstances your vitiligo has created in your life.
Bearing is physical. Is it your posture, your stillness and how you occupy space.
Demeaner is the “vibe” or “spirit” you project through your behaviour and interactions with others. It includes but is not limited to your facial expressions, tone of voice and emotional temperature.
Vitiligo leadership and command is actually not difficult. It is only difficult to decide to do it instead of the other easier and more socially rewarding options. At the same time it will easily be your most massive contribution to vitiligo investigation.
